I am an expert at developing inspiring, step by step programmes that help solve the problems of small businesses, creatives, and wannabe career changers.
I show you everything from how to reconnect with your passions, through to how to make a living from them, how to explode your creativity, and how to stay stress free while doing it!
I am one of the few people delivering training in the revolutionary Lean Startup business modelling and business testing methodology. I will show you how to reach success without expensive failures along the way – and without writing a godawful “business plan” at the beginning.
I specialise too in courses that unleash your own creativity. They work and are tons of fun!
For a more tailored service, I provide one-to-one creativity and business mentoring. This is a great way to keep you and your goals on track, especially if you are a creative person or solopreneur.
Social Media
As an independent musician, I have been using social media for years to generate a fan base able to sustain a successful music career.
You know you should be using social media. Everybody tells you that. But how? And where do you find the time? That’s where I come in.
I will show you how to build your own brand online in order to bring in clients.
I can either build you a social media plan for you to follow, or I can do it for you.

Web Development
Before the World Wide Web was the household name it is now, I was lecturing about it at the University of Liverpool in their Computer Science Department.
I create websites that work and that you can manage yourself if you want to.
Allied with my experience as a business trainer and mentor, I tailor websites so that they do a job for your business.
Too many businesses focus just on design issues, when what you really want is a website that is built around what you need to happen for your business.
Films and Podcasts
Digital broadcast media like films and podcasts are increasingly popular online and in social media campaigns.
Recent industry figures showed that you are 53 times more likely to end up on Google’s front page with a film than a web page.
Plus they are very easily shared using the likes of Twitter and Facebook too.
Podcasts (internet radio shows) are also a great way of reaching a new audience and showing off your expertise, developing trust.
Creativity Training
I am a songwriter and performer with a specialism in songs of social history. I deliver inspirational creativity workshops, such as my popular songwriting course, or my course on How To Tell Your Own Life Story.
These are excellent ways of engaging people, and can even be used for strategic purposes like gathering meaningful feedback on your service from people who don’t tend to fill in your forms.
